Performs Data Entry to create the Student Directory/Master Volunteer list; Work in September and October.
Volunteers needed primarily at the start of school to “work” membership tables, count money, and maintain membership list
Hospitality
Chair:
Able to help with special lunch days for the teachers. Bake goodies and send them into school to show appreciation to the staff at SES throughout the year. Also need help planning events and setting up.
Honor Roll

Sets up and provides donuts for honor students three times a year.
Library
Chair: Crystal Thomas ([email protected])
Assist Librarian with checking books in and out, shelving books, and providing overall support in the library. Various shifts available. Volunteers also needed during the Fall and Spring Book Fair. Day and evening shifts available.
Material Prep

Currently Material Prep meets every Wednesday on the stage. Any amount of time you have to give is welcome. They support the teachers by coloring, cutting, laminating, etc. Volunteers always welcome even on other days.
Seaford Gram Monthly Email

Assembles Articles and information provided by the school and PTA to send out a school newsletter email.

An artistic competition sponsored by the National PTA. Reflections provides an opportunity for students to participate using their creative talents in visual art, music, dance, literature and photography. Volunteers are needed in advertising and implementing the program, along with judging. Awards ceremony to follow in December with all participants.
Walk-A-Thon (Fundraiser)

Our biggest fundraiser of the year. Great prizes and donations will make this successful as well as many volunteers. Need help organizing event and help the day of event.

A fall celebration with various games, hay ride, balloon artist, and crafts.

Opportunity for the children to do a little shopping in-school for family and friends.
Volunteers help run the event.

Students do all the work chair puts out a flyer about fair before winter break and then sends out entry forms to all students. Chair also makes sure every child has a back board since they are required. Get the handbook out to all who enter. Order prizes and awards. Have a panel of 6 judges ready for the event.

Organize this fun night where a student can ask a family member or guardian to a fun night
out of dressing up, dancing, pictures & desert.

Spring event that allows children the opportunity to share their “talents”. We have seen magic shows, gymnastics, singing, dancing, piano playing etc.
Spring Carnival

Carnival has traditionally been held in the spring. The coordinator would need to schedule temporary tattoos, face paint, balloon animals, inflatables, activities and games, coordinates food trucks & volunteers.
